WORLD FINANCIAL CENTER 2&3.

The home to some grand American financial institutions like American Express and Merrill Lynch. The offices of the Wall Street Journal are also there.

  1. What a fantastic group of buildings! I love modern buildings just as much as historical ones. What is the smaller curved one on the right? Its design looks quite awesome.

  3. What an amazing sight you do provide.

Dreaming of becoming an Engineer this was surely of interest as well, being an Accountant as well, I once wished to work there, reading the newspaper day by day - nowadays I'm having a dream of making a life as a window cleaner, trying as well to obtain my MSc in Theology. Thank you for the memories and thoughts. Please have a wonderful Sunday.

  4. Hilda,
The smaller building that you like is the Atrium, the Winter Garden. It has an interesting victorious story behind it. It was the first building being completely restored after September 11th. Nowadays, this is the place for performances and exhibitions. It is an airy, spacious space, flooded with sunshine on a sunny day.

    T. Becque,
The lines - this is very often a strong point of your photography! My latest favorite of yours is the Dancers from a couple of days ago.

    Robert,
I have an impression from your blog that you are a teacher? By itself it is a pretty meaningful place in life. With the window-cleaning skills added to it – you are a rare find!:). Hope things are getting better in Athens and in your immediate surroundings.
